Quick update...pictures later

I know that posts without pictures are super boring, but for my journaling purposes I want to jot down a few recent happenings. Jonny and I both survived fall semester, even finals week and check-outs! And the best part was that the stress was followed by 2 fabulous weeks of Christmas and family time and lots of fun (with a little stress mixed in here and there). We celebrated Christmas with the Parkinson's this year and had such a blast! It was so exciting to play Santa and look forward to Kaleb's reaction on Christmas morning. I will put in more details and pictures later. The day after Christmas we all headed for Utah for an evening at Grandpa and Grandma Hatch's house. All of my grandparents' posterity was gathered (other than Becca and Uncle John) so we took family pictures and just enjoyed some games and good food. On Monday Kaleb and I headed back to Idaho, while Jonny was on his way to California with James, Shariane, and the kids. Both of Jonny's grandparents passed away the week of Christmas, so he spent Monday through Thursday in California for family time and their funeral. Kaleb and I missed him so much! But he came home to us Friday and we were lucky enough to spend New Year's Eve and Day together :) The biggest challenge while Jonny was gone was getting everything ready for check-ins...oh it was an incredibly stressful process, but almost all of the guys have checked in now and its been pretty smooth so far so hopefully the hard work paid off!
So that was our break and now we are headed full swing into a crazy busy semester. We were thinking Jonny would just work this semester and we'd try to save up as much as we could for April, but our plans changed abruptly yesterday and Jonny is now in the process of applying for fast grad so that he can take classes this semester (the semester starts tomorrow!) and we are just hoping and praying the schedule will come together and we can somehow make it work. It will be busy but I'm glad it will be a really productive semester. We were worried that Jonny wouldn't be able to find a job and that the semester would fly by without any progress financially or educationally being made, but this way we'll one step closer to being done with school! Jonny will still be working early morning custodial, and I will have my office hours each day from 11 to 3 so it will be a balancing act, especially for Jonny but I know we will be blessed and taken care of.

We are getting closer and closer to welcoming in this sweet baby girl to our family. I am 26 weeks along now and she is very active, and seems to be a healthy, strong little girl. Kaleb is doing well, keeping us on our toes and laughing a lot as usual :) He is such a sweet, good kid and gives us constant reminders of how blessed we are to have him in our family. He is starting to talk a little more which is so much fun, and we can't wait until he can really share all the little things on his mind. Well, that is where we are at now. As I said earlier, I will add pictures and more about Christmas soon.
